This course gives learners a basic understanding of how different load stresses are exposed to the automotive engine. To provide comprehensive safety for the engine, additives such as anti-wear agents, anti-oxidant, detergents, and dispersants are essential. The features and classifications of base oils are also addressed in depth to allow participants to better understand the selection of base oils. It provides a short lubricant qualification procedure. To provide an insight into the lubricant manufacturing environment, lubricant blending plant processes, testing, and management are also discussed. This course will help to improve the understanding of appropriate automotive lubricant safety.
